Week of February 21st.

We had a busy but wonderful week. The students have been very excited about reading and completing book reports for the book challenge Ms. Aramburo is putting on in the library. Below are some pictures of the students buddy reading and filling out book reports.

We are finishing up our space unit in science. The students were paired in teams and assigned a planet. They then worked together to decorate the balloon to resemble their planet. Below you can take a look as we ventured outside with our planets to learn about how our planets orbit the sun. This activity was an fun adn exciting way to help the students assess relative distance.

Abby was enjoying holding Pluto as this planet does something completly different than the other eight planets.

Conner was doing his best to hold his balloon that was suppose to represent the sun.
